Who is eligible?

This opportunity is open to any women who may be interested in a career as a mortgage broker. Whilst experience in the industry may be helpful to better understand the role of a mortgage broker, it certainly isn’t a requirement that the successful candidate has financial services experience.

What we’re looking for is someone with a strong commitment to career development, a willingness to learn and someone who likes to tackle challenges head on. We also see effective communication and interpersonal skills as a crucial component, as mortgage brokers deal with clients and industry professionals all day.

Whilst not essential, it may also be beneficial to an application to highlight an community involvement, which reflects your values and dedication.

Ultimately, candidates should express genuine motivation and passion for the role, along with a desire to make a meaningful impact. By focusing on these criteria, the scholarship aims to support women who have the potential to excel and contribute positively to the industry and their communities.
